The very first CidrExpo trade show organised in Caen this February highlighted the diversity of the cider industry, which is currently seeing a renaissance. It seemed that the French industry was missing such an event, holding a tradeshow dedicated to cider and its accompanying products in France - a tradeshow, a workshop, a cider melting pot. Over 90 exhibitors presented their products, while over 20 speakers talked about various topics relevant for the sector - from technical matters over to current market trends and new perception of cider, a session in which AICV participated by providing market statistics as well as anticipations of future trends and opportunities for the cider category.
