The 2019 edition of the Global Cider Forum in Frankfurt on the 10th of October, managed once again to gather cider makers from around the world, their suppliers and marketing colleagues. Excellent and relevant presentations were delivered by great speakers who engaged and interacted with the audience on a number of topic, in particular on challenges and opportunities that the cider and fruit wine industry will face in the coming years. But it was not all just hard work - Forum participants analysed and enjoyed many ciders and fruit wines from across the globe at the Cider Tasting on the eve of the Forum, just before the Networking Dinner during which knowledge and experience about the sector was further exchanged in an unformal setting.
The take-away from this year's Global Cider Forum is that, while the sector continues to grow, there is a need for more collaboration across different continents, bringing the world of cider together. Which is exactly why the AICV will be welcoming all cider and fruit wine makers and their suppliers on the 30th September & the 1st of October 2020 to another exciting edition of the Global Cider Forum!
