This EU ECG meets several times per year to exchange views on the applicable EU legislation related to excise duties and on the Excise Movement and Control System (EMCS). In a meeting early May 2021, AICV discussed with the ECG members setting of new rules for certification of independent small producers set out in Article 23a of the Council Directive (EU) 2020/1151.
